7:19 The Magma Blade on the original Magmatron figure, in addition to being the hilt of the sword in the default configuration, had a secondary configuration as a pistol, where you would flip the handle down and insert one of the missiles stored in the Elasmosaurus to mimic a pistol. I have a feeling the blast effects that came with Magmatron were to recreate that feature of the original toy as well.

I always had the idea since seeing the Sweeps, that Unicron made a deliberate design choice there, making a mockery of Alpha Trion's appearance. Subdurmal on TFW2005 boards made a photocomic where (Legacy) Bulkhead accuses Alpha Trion of being a Sweep and Alpha Trion indignantly replies that he is NOT a Sweep, he's the ancient father of the Autobots. At some point in the comic a SS86 Sweep calls Alpha Trion "Grandpa?" and Bulkhead goes, "I _KNEW_ IT! SWEEP!"

my definitive windblade, is BingoToys Windgirl. and i am done. no need for any other windblade for me. Hasbro won't give us anything definitive. I have the T30 Windblade, which i still adore, and damn, it is better then this. Vtol engines go up and down, and the propellers are one plastic, which you can rotate AS PROPELLERS DO. Seriously, I see NO effort in any way, to even better a toy from 2014....2-0-1-4. I loath this toy, as damn ugly she is in everything.

took me some time if i went for him or not. Commander yes, but, prices are not getting sympathy from me. I don't like his hands with that hole. Why not do the engineering like jetfire siege? that was so cool. He is massive and fun to walk around. The details are so awesome and so ..let me say it like this. If I was a beast "lover", i'd "love" this guy till kingdom come, meaning milk flood out of my nose. Magmatron did deserved an update, but of course, in today's definition of upgrade, you loose all gimmicks and play features from original toy. Which is why i know hasbro will f*** up when doing Big Convoy, in which the original toy is already and incredible figure. I rather go back in time i get him, then new bland no fun dude. some of my biggest problems with this toy, are the hands sculpted like its giving a middle finger, that gray plastic that STILL has been yellowing, and those propellers. I thought about saying yes or no to this for 4 months. Till i gave in so just i can have my main headmasters triple-changers. He is good, no doubt, for what i can see in reviews for now. And there is a lot i do love in him, but i will mostly have him in dune buggy mode then helicopter cause those propellers are just ugly and stupid. love the head. Adore the head. I'd blow that head.

Isn't this figure just a combination of Animated Bulkhead & Bayverse Hound? I mean that's where the vehicle mode came from right? Frankly I like this & he looks WAY better in person than in photos & videos.
